Setting
HSB Living Lab housing context where property and sustainability teams could test waste-room design and digital follow-up together. Learning is meant to transfer to ordinary housing stock, not stay in the lab.
The challenge
Waste rooms and sharing routines created friction. Tenants faced cognitive load, unclear cues, and habits that favored residual waste. The living lab needed a measurable drop property teams could learn from, with transfer notes for buildings that are not a research site.
